As many of you know, there were no races this weekend, but there is a special treat for MotoGP fans. We have a clip of the 2009 Jerez test. Download is here. This one is in mp4 format, if you do not know what kind of format that is, I suggest that you download and install VLC media player here.

We have noticed that some users have been downloading last seasons races, and we are sure there may be low to no seed for many of these races. If this is the case for you, please open a new thread in our forums section requesting a reseed of the race. You need to be a registered user and logged in to post in the reseed section, currently there are no requirements to post in this section (i.e. minimum post count, time registered with site). We currently still have the entire 2008 motogp season saved and a few wsbk races from 08. If anyone still has the 08 WSBK season or 08 AMA season and would like to contribute to seeding requests, please email us at admin@shiftkontrol.com.

With Speed’s poor race coverage this year of the AMA races, I am not sure how long the AMA roadracing will be around. Race fans already have an issue with DMG changing the layout of the AMA, and now speed is airing 2 week old races for the first time, and lets not forget the Fontana race was this past weekend too, so I guess we will have to wait another 2 weeks to see that. Shame on you Speed TV.

Hello everyone, we have made some additions to the site which hopefully will make things more enjoyable for visitors and registered users. Anyone who has clicked on the forum link would have been sent to a forum which was totally separate from our main blogging site, which also meant having to register another username inorder to post there. Well now that is gone. It is replaced by an integrated forum page which uses your current registered information. There are only a few topics open at this point, mainly centered around racing, but I encourage you to check it out and post away. Another addition are countdown timers for the next race coming up. They are posted on the races pages of MotoGP and WSBK.

The second round of WSBK has begun and the superpole event has completed.

OK so everyone knows the new Fast and the Furious movie is coming out and it’s gonna be HOT, and what better way to celebrate than a bike and car show???

So save the date April 2nd 2009, after the pre-screening of the movie there will be a bike show/car show after party so come out and show Tampa what you got!!!
